Romanza Interior Design, a luxury full-service boutique firm in Naples, won two prestigious 2026 Seaglass Awards for showcase estates in Old Naples and Port Royal. Presented by Florida Design magazine, the awards program honors excellence in interior design, architecture and landscape architecture from throughout the state. Judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts, homes are scored on design innovation, solutions and notable details.

Michael Scott, senior design director for Romanza, received first place for his visionary design of the study in a Port Royal estate at 3233 Gin Lane built by London Bay Homes. Forgoing traditional built-ins, Scott ingeniously transformed high-end Poliform kitchen cabinetry into a large wet bar with a velvet-finished Dekton countertop, paneled Sub-Zero refrigerator drawers and a decorative bourbon-glazed sink. The room also features lit-from-within bookcases along the opposite wall and a custom-designed desk. Finishing touches include patterned draperies, a polished nickel and linen shade lighting fixture suspended from the cove-lit ceiling, modern artwork and a motorized recliner.

Jennifer Stevens earned an honorable mention for the design of the expansive outdoor living areas of London Bay Homes’ showcase estate at 477 3rd Street N. in Old Naples. The senior design director created a resort-inspired lifestyle within 1,700 square feet of covered and open-air spaces including sundecks, a summer kitchen and bar, dining pavilion, secluded firepit lounge and an elegant alfresco living room. Showcasing a color palette and sophisticated furnishing silhouettes that nod to interior spaces, the alfresco area seamlessly blends luxury, livability and entertaining with details such as a coral-motif screen, an Irish blue limestone deck, shiplap paneling and a beamed tongue-and-grove cupola ceiling.
